Fireworks As A Lady Alleges She Was Paid To Cause Chaos In Gachagua's Rally, Claims Who Paid Her

A woman by the moniker of Muthoni has recently caused a stir on social media after she openly admitted that she was among the goons who caused the chaos that was witnessed in the recent rally of the united opposition, that took place in Runyenjes, Embu County.

The woman, who hails from Kigumo, further confessed live on camera that she and others were paid by the Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire to hurl insults at the opposition leaders at the event.

The move by Muthoni to admit that she was among the goons who caused the chaos that was witnessed in the united opposition rally, however comes just days after Rigathi Gachagua also alleged that there were some local leaders who were behind it.

Speaking after the rally, the former deputy president further praised the people of Runyenjes for standing firm against the alleged orchestrated violence.

"Runyenjes, you are great people! Today you have rejected planned violence by some elected leaders who have turned against you and your will. 

You have sent a strong message of 'Wantam' to the leaders who have decided to serve dictatorship espoused at the highest. It is a matter of time! God bless Runyenjes, and God bless Kenya" Rigathi Gachagua said.
