“You Will Be Kicked Out If You Try" Uhuru Kenyatta Warns Jubilee Members Insulting Gachagua

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned Jubilee Party officials against using insults and personal attacks in their political engagements.

Speaking during a grassroots meeting in Murang’a on Friday, Uhuru said he will not tolerate members who disrespect other leaders, especially former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

The former Head of State expressed disappointment over the growing trend of online insults from people claiming to defend the party.

He said such behavior goes against Jubilee’s core values of unity, respect, and political maturity.

“I’m saddened when I see some of our members on social media insulting leaders like Rigathi Gachagua in the name of defending Jubilee,” Uhuru said.

“That nonsense must stop. If you can’t show respect, you will have no place in this party.”

Uhuru reminded Jubilee members that politics should be about ideas and policies, not personal grudges or insults.

He warned that any official who continues to sow division will face disciplinary action, including expulsion.

“Most of those spreading hate are party officials,” he added.

“Let me be clear — before I hand over this party, I will not hesitate to send them home if they keep embarrassing us.”

His remarks came as Jubilee intensified its grassroots revival campaign across the country, seeking to reconnect with its base ahead of the 2027 elections.

Uhuru said the goal of the exercise is to rebuild trust, promote tolerance, and restore the dignity that once defined the party.

“I want to see a party that respects all Kenyans, no matter their political stand. We can disagree without insulting one another,” he said.

The Murang’a meeting drew hundreds of supporters and several key Jubilee figures, including former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

Uhuru’s message was seen as a broader appeal for civility and discipline in Kenya’s increasingly heated political space.

Other leaders echoed his call, urging members to focus on rebuilding the party instead of fighting personal wars online.

Uhuru’s firm stance comes at a time when internal disagreements have resurfaced within Jubilee, with some leaders openly attacking former Deputy President Gachagua over his fallout with President William Ruto.
