“Tuta Amini Ikimalizwa” – Gathoni Wamuchomba Laughs Off Ruto’s Announcement on Kiambu Road Dualling

Gathoni Wamuchomba has reacted humorously to President William Ruto’s communication announcing the approval of the 23.5-kilometre Kiambu Road dualling project, saying residents will only believe it when it is completed.

In a light but pointed remark, Wamuchomba said, “Tuta amini ikimalizwa!” (We’ll believe it when it’s done), a statement that drew laughter and mixed reactions from Kiambu residents.

Her comment appeared to highlight a growing public skepticism toward government promises, particularly regarding stalled or delayed infrastructure projects in Mount Kenya.

President Ruto had earlier revealed that the government had approved the long-awaited dualling of Kiambu Road, which connects the Nairobi-Thika Superhighway to Kiambu town and serves thousands of daily commuters. TO READ MORE, TAP HERE.
