In a deeply moving moment, Betty’s husband Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, arrived in the company of their children, Sky and Danny.

The trio, dressed in formal attire, stood united in sorrow as they prepared to say goodbye to the woman who meant the world to them.

Betty Bayo, known for her soul-stirring gospel hits and unwavering faith, passed away on November 10 after a battle with acute myeloid leukemia. 

Her passing has left a void in both the gospel music scene and the hearts of her fans.

As the funeral procession began, hundreds gathered to pay their respects, with fellow musicians, close friends, and members of the clergy in attendance.

The day’s events marked the beginning of Betty’s final journey home, where she will be laid to rest at her Mugumo Estate home.
