The Tanzanian government has launched a hunt for prominent people it claims organised and aided last week's protests against President Samia Suluhu.
Among those being sought for arrest and possible prosecution is former Kawe MP, Bishop Josephat Gwajima, the founder of Ufufuo na Uzima churches.
Also being sought is Bishop Maxmillian Machumu, the church's Deputy Secretary General, with the two being among 10 government critics and CHADEMA politicians being pursued.
"Those mentioned persons should surrender to the nearest police stations," the Tanzanian Police Force has stated, as reported by BBC.
Gwajima has been on the government radar for months, after launching attacks on President Samia despite being in parliament courtesy of the ruling CCM party, which she leads.
His criticised police-enforced abductions of Samia's critics, resulting in the closure of his churches.
Others being sought include CHADEMA Secretary General John Mnyika, his deputy Amani Golugwa and Director of Communications, Brenda Rupiah.
