Bad News To Tanzanians Living In US After President Donald Trump Issuing This Urgent Order

The United States government has issued a strong travel advisory urging its citizens and other foreigners planning to visit Tanzania to exercise the highest level of caution.

This follows an increasing number of reports involving the detention and interrogation of foreigners by Tanzanian authorities.

According to the statement released by the U.S. State Department, several foreign nationals have allegedly been detained under unclear circumstances, with some being held for long periods without proper legal procedures.

The advisory warns that visitors could face unexpected questioning, restricted movement, or even confiscation of their personal documents.

Such actions are said to occur more frequently in situations involving photography, journalism, or social activities that may be considered suspicious by local security agencies.

The U.S. Embassy in Dar es Salaam emphasized that Tanzania continues to be a popular destination, admired for its beautiful wildlife, coastal scenery, and hospitable people. However, it cautioned travelers to remain vigilant and strictly observe local laws and customs.

The embassy further advised visitors to carry valid identification at all times, avoid attending political rallies or demonstrations, and immediately report any harassment or detention incidents to the embassy for assistance.

This advisory comes amid rising concerns from international human rights organizations about the country’s shrinking space for free expression and increasing surveillance targeting foreign nationals.

Advocacy groups have urged the Tanzanian government to uphold international human rights standards and ensure transparency and fairness in the treatment of all detained individuals.

Despite the warning, the U.S. clarified that it is not discouraging travel to Tanzania but rather encouraging travelers to prepare adequately and stay informed about potential risks.

Local tour operators have also assured visitors that most tourist sites remain safe and welcoming as long as travelers respect local regulations and cultural sensitivities.
