President William Ruto on Wednesday left residents of Emali, Makueni County, in stitches after making a light-hearted remark to a local MCA during a public rally.
While issuing title deeds to hundreds of landowners, the President humorously told the MCA, “Wewe MCA unanipea amri, kwani haujui mimi ni Rais wa Kenya?” (You, MCA, are giving me orders? Don’t you know I’m the President of Kenya?). The crowd burst into laughter, cheering as Ruto continued his address.
The President’s visit to Makueni was part of his government’s nationwide land regularization programme, aimed at resolving decades-long land disputes and empowering Kenyans with legal ownership documents.TO READ MORE, TAP HERE.
