Mt Kenya Drama as Photos Emerge After Gachagua Claims Kindiki Is Mimicking His Tactics

 

Political temperatures in Mbeere North have risen sharply as Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and his predecessor Rigathi Gachagua intensify their campaigns ahead of the upcoming by-election.

The two leaders, once key allies in the Mt Kenya political bloc, are now engaged in a fierce battle for regional influence and control.

Earlier this week, Kindiki proclaimed himself the new Mt Kenya kingpin, a move that came only days after Gachagua made a similar declaration.

Their overlapping ambitions have now boiled over into open confrontation.
