"Am Coming For You" Mudavadi Goes After Natembeya, Vows To Teach Him A Political Lesson as The Supremacy Battle Intensifies

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has sent out one of his strongest political warnings yet, telling Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya to prepare for a tough battle in the 2027 General Election.

The message came on Saturday, November 22, during a campaign event in Malava, Kakamega County, where Mudavadi joined other Kenya Kwanza leaders to drum up support for David Ndakwa, the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate in the upcoming November 27 by-election.

According to Mudavadi, Natembeya has been “crossing lines” by constantly attacking senior Kenya Kwanza leaders, including himself and National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula.

Mudavadi said Natembeya’s criticism is no longer innocent politics but a habit meant to undermine national leaders from the Mulembe community.

While addressing residents, Mudavadi spoke firmly, saying that the Kenya Kwanza Alliance will not sit back and watch Natembeya insult leaders every weekend. He insisted that the governor is becoming overly proud despite being in his first term.

“People should not think that we are not politicians,” Mudavadi said.

“Even that one walking around here called Natembeya—I want to tell him that in 2027, we will bring a strong candidate who will send him home.”

Mudavadi insisted that Natembeya believes he has already reached national fame, yet he has only served one term and still has a lot to prove.

According to Mudavadi, the governor is acting like he is untouchable, but 2027 will humble him.

“He thinks he is the most famous person in the world,” Mudavadi added.

“But my friend, you will not survive in Trans Nzoia. You will be roaming in tears because our candidate will remove you. We are coming for you.”

Mudavadi also said the Kenya Kwanza Alliance has already identified possible names who can challenge Natembeya in 2027.

He noted that the alliance wants someone who can unite the region, work closely with national leaders, and avoid unnecessary political fights.

He assured Trans Nzoia residents that Kenya Kwanza will field a candidate who understands development, respects leaders, and can bring peace among community members.

Political analysts say this is the clearest sign that the battle between Natembeya and Kenya Kwanza leaders is entering a new phase.

Natembeya has become popular among youth and farmers because of his outspoken nature, but Kenya Kwanza leaders believe he is “reckless” and needs to be stopped before 2027.

For months now, Natembeya has accused Mudavadi and Wetang’ula of neglecting the Mulembe Nation in national politics.

He claims that the two leaders hold powerful positions but rarely fight for the interests of Western Kenya.

His statements have angered Kenya Kwanza leaders, who see them as attempts to create division. Mudavadi believes that Natembeya is using unnecessary drama to build his political image.

Several MPs from Western Kenya have also criticised Natembeya for “campaigning every day instead of working in Trans Nzoia”.

Mudavadi was in Malava to support David Ndakwa, the UDA candidate in the upcoming by-election. He told residents that Kenya Kwanza wants to strengthen its political base in Kakamega and win more seats in 2027.

The Prime Cabinet Secretary called on voters to give Ndakwa a chance, saying he represents the future of development in Malava.

He also reminded residents that the national government wants unity and peace, not unnecessary political fights.

The war of words between Natembeya and Kenya Kwanza leaders is expected to continue as the election period approaches.

Political observers say Natembeya has become one of the fastest-rising regional politicians, and this is why he is attracting strong opposition.
