Abduba Dida Reappears With New Venture Months After Release From U.S. Prison

Former Kenyan presidential candidate Mohammed Abduba Dida has returned to the public spotlight with a completely new mission, several months after walking out of an Illinois correctional facility where he had served part of a seven-year sentence.

Dida, known during his political peak for his sharp humour and unpredictable, often philosophical campaign style, is now presenting himself as a spiritual mentor and podcaster with a global vision.

A video that circulated widely on Sunday showed the 50-year-old speaking from his current base in Minnesota, where he has been living since his release on parole in April 2025.

Calm and reflective, Dida revealed that he is rebuilding a charity organisation he had registered in 2017 and is actively looking for office space to relaunch its activities.

According to him, the episode he went through in the United States has reshaped his purpose and deepened his belief that people across the world need guidance and spiritual grounding. TO READ MORE, TAP HERE.
