What Speaker Was Forced To Do To Kibagendi During Parliamentary Committee Session After Clash With Duale

Kitutu Chache South MP Anthony Kibagendi was dramatically ejected from a parliamentary health committee session after a fiery confrontation with Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale spiralled out of control, leading to the MP threatening the committee chairman and storming out of the room.

The chaotic scene unfolded as accusations of corruption and conflict of interest flew across the table.

The outspoken legislator became enraged after the committee chairman, Hon. Robert Pukose, attempted to restore order following an initial shouting match between him and CS Duale.

When another MP suggested Kibagendi should not be in the meeting due to a "conflict of interest," Kibagendi lost his temper completely.

He accused the chairman of being intimidated by CS Duale and declared, "We will not allow him to chair this meeting"

Hon. Robert Pukose, the committee chairman, was forced to act decisively as the situation descended into chaos. After repeatedly trying to calm the MP down, he officially ordered him to leave the proceedings.

"Honourable Kibagendi, out Escort the Honourable Kibagendi out," the chairman instructed the Sergeant-at-Arms, as other members pleaded for calm.

MP Anthony Kibagendi, however, refused to go quietly. Before walking out, he delivered a parting shot that has since gone viral, stating, "You are living on borrowed values!"

The MP's dramatic exit, where he was escorted out by parliamentary security, has exposed the deep and bitter political divisions surrounding the management of the new Social Health Authority (SHA), leaving the committee in disarray and the public in shock.
