RIP: Beautiful Photos of University Girl Who Died After Alleged Love Triangle Poisoning

The Rongo University community is reeling from shock and grief following the sudden death of first-year student Violet Mokobi Nyabicha.

The young woman was reportedly found unconscious in her hostel room before being rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Preliminary reports suggest that she may have ingested poison in circumstances linked to a suspected love triangle, though investigations are ongoing to establish the truth behind the tragedy.

Violet, who had just begun her academic journey at the institution, was enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics programme under the School of Arts, Social Sciences and Business.

Her passing has not only shaken her peers but has also sparked widespread conversations on social media, where her photos have gone viral as friends and strangers alike mourn her untimely death.

Born in July 2006 in Botore village, Kisii County, Violet completed her secondary education at St Anne’s Nyangoge Girls Secondary School before joining Rongo University earlier this year.

Friends and fellow students have described her as a bright, ambitious young woman whose life ended far too soon.

Her body is currently preserved at Rosewood Hospital Mortuary in Rongo Town as her family, led by her parents Jackson Orondo and Annah Nyamusi, begins the painful process of planning her burial.

The loss of Violet Mokobi has raised fresh concerns about the pressures young people face while navigating academic life and relationships.

Both the university administration and the student fraternity have expressed deep sorrow, pledging support to her grieving family as they prepare to lay her to rest.
