“Kindiki Deserves Respect, He’s Not Your Calibre” MP Osoro Tells Off Gachagua

South Mugirango Member of Parliament Silvanus Osoro has cautioned former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to show respect to Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, describing Kindiki as a more capable and respectable leader.

While addressing residents during a public function in Tharaka Nithi County on Saturday, October 11, 2025, Osoro said Gachagua should stop undermining Kindiki, who he said has proven himself in leadership and service.

“You, Wamunyoro, must respect Kindiki. There is nothing you can beat Kindiki in,” Osoro told the cheering crowd, using Gachagua’s popular nickname.

He praised Kindiki’s calm nature, humility, and focus, saying he has managed government affairs with dignity and efficiency.

Osoro went on to list Kindiki’s strengths, saying he stands out not only in his leadership qualities but also in his academic achievements and personal discipline.

“Kindiki is educated, polished, hardworking, and focused. He represents the kind of leadership our country needs,” Osoro added.

The outspoken MP accused some leaders of spreading division and tension within the Kenya Kwanza coalition, instead of supporting the Deputy President and President William Ruto in delivering their promises to Kenyans.

According to Osoro, Kindiki has demonstrated commitment to national unity and the rule of law, especially in his current role overseeing security and internal administration.

He urged leaders to emulate Kindiki’s humility and professionalism rather than engage in unnecessary political rivalries.

Osoro also expressed confidence that the Kenya Kwanza government will retain power in the 2027 general election.

“The 2027 elections are already sealed. Our focus now is on development and service delivery,” he said.
