Karua's Claim About Raila Flops as She's Reminded What They Did at Night in

Homabay Town MP, Peter Kaluma, has laughed at People's Liberation Party (PLP) leader Martha Karua following her remarks about ODM boss Raila Odinga.

This is after Karua, during an interview on Bahari FM, said she cannot work again with Raila for joining hands with President William Ruto, whose government she claimed has been brutalising the youth.

Kaluma has expressed surprise that this is coming from someone he claims participated in the plot to swear-in former President Mwai Kibaki at night, after being defeated by Raila in 2007.

"Hon Martha Karua: By swearing in Kibaki as President in the night of 31st December, 2007 after Raila won, you caused the 2008 post-election violence and presided over the killing of over 1,600 Kenyans," he says on X.

"President Ruto has not killed and can’t kill anyone. He is a Christian."

Karua, who was Raila's running mate in the 2022 presidential election, also said he cannot support the former Prime Minister again, maintaining that he should reciprocate in 2027.
