Wrangle In ODM As Founding Members Oppose Planned ODM At 20 Anniversary, Reason Revealed

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is facing internal wrangles after some of its founding members opposed the planned 20th anniversary celebrations set for November 16 in Mombasa County

The disagreement comes just weeks after the party leadership rescheduled the event, which was initially planned for October, to November following the sudden death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was also the party’s longtime leader.

The founding members led by the former Makadara Member of Parliament Reuben Ndolo argued that the event should be postponed in honour of it's former and late leader Raila Odinga.

Meanwhile, the party Leadership is yet to issue a response to the issues raised by the the party's founding members.

Since the passing on of Raila Odinga, the ODM party has faced wrangles within.

The strength of the party is set to undergo a political test this November during Kasipul Constituency by-elections.
