BREAKING NEWS: EPRA Announces December Fuel Prices

The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has announced that fuel prices in Kenya will remain stable for the month of December.

The latest review, released on Friday, November 14, 2025, confirms that Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene will retail at Ksh184.52, Ksh171.47, and Ksh154.78 per litre, respectively, in Nairobi.

These maximum retail prices will take effect from Saturday, November 15, 2025, until Sunday, December 14, 2025, and already include 16% VAT as per the Finance Act 2023 and related legislation.
Regional Prices

Mombasa: Super Petrol Ksh181.24 | Diesel Ksh168.19 | Kerosene Ksh151.49

Kisumu: Super Petrol Ksh184.37 | Diesel Ksh171.68 | Kerosene Ksh155.03

Nakuru: Super Petrol Ksh183.56 | Diesel Ksh170.87 | Kerosene Ksh154.21

Eldoret: Super Petrol Ksh184.38 | Diesel Ksh171.68 | Kerosene Ksh155.03

EPRA noted that while the average landed cost of imported fuels showed minor fluctuations in October, the stability of Super Petrol and only slight increases in Diesel (1.81%) and Kerosene (0.71%) contributed to unchanged retail prices.

Exchange rates, inflation adjustments, and buffer margins were also considered in the review.

This decision marks the fourth consecutive month without a fuel price increase, providing modest relief to Kenyan motorists.

Earlier in July, fuel prices spiked significantly, with Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene rising by Ksh8.99, Ksh8.67, and Ksh9.65 per litre, respectively. Since then, prices have gradually stabilized.
